Cirque Du Soleil Ka is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and was created by legendary circus genius Guy Laliberte. This particular circus show is particularly unique since its stage consists of a handful of large floating platforms which the performers balance and act out upon. The entire show took a staggering 165 million dollars to put together but it certainly shows. Being one of the most quality circus shows currently running, its draw is nearly worldwide. The story is simplified from the oftentimes confusing and intricate storylines of other Cirque shows, which can be overwhelming to those new to circuses.
The skill and dedication of the performers is topnotch and unlikely to be surpassed in anything other than another Cirque show. The performance like many Cirque shows is highly technical and includes leaps of faith that makes even the most comfortable with heights cringe. Along with the regular circus faire, audiences will enjoy multiple martial arts routines, often including props such as swords and staffs. The entire show will be wrapped up and perfected by the energetic and original soundtrack paired with the show.
