Oscar Hammerstein’s 1949 award winning Broadway show is back and ready to create a whole new generation of theater fans. The Broadway production was based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel ‘Tales of the South Pacific’. The novel seemed to translate seamlessly into a live action musical, and went on to win a Pulitzer Prize itself in 1950 for drama.
