Back to back Stanley Cup winners in 1990–1991 and 1991–1992, the Pittsburgh Penguins are a team that while not having the most wins and most championships won, have a large following in the NHL. Whether it can be attributed to their iconic penguin mascot or their generally well-mannered and respectable players, they’re one of the most popular teams in the NHL currently. |

Pittsburgh Penguins Tickets Information |
The team was conceptualized in 1967 and made a reality that same year. Since then the team has had many successes oftentimes mirrored with failures. The team will have off seasons and on seasons like most NHL teams; however, for the penguins it seemed much more spontaneous and detrimental.
The citizens of Pittsburgh stuck with them though and that is what makes penguin games such a great experience. The penguins have had a long history with financial trouble however and they’ve been rumored to be moving several times within the past decade, however they just recently signed a thirty-year lease binding them to stay in Pittsburgh until 2040, much to the fans’ delight. In exchange the city will build the penguins a brand new state of the art arena to play in.
With the penguins stuck to the city and a brand new arena, hockey season in Pittsburgh looks amazing. Tickets to a penguins game ensures a good time, especially in 2011 when the new stadium opens for home games.
