Back to back division champions for the years 2005"“2006 and 2006"“2007, the New Jersey Devils are stepping up their game and taking advantage of the fact that many historically strong teams such as the Montreal Canadiens have currently been in a rut. The devils are a skilled team with up and coming stars such as Rod Pelley and Brian Gionta. With the current roster full of talent both young and old the team is currently stewing and getting better, very soon they will be a force to be reckoned with. While they aren't a very old team, being founded in 1974, the New Jersey Devils make up for what they lack in age, with dedication.
The team can commonly be found at their rink working hard before a game, squeezing every last minute of practice they can. It's the incredible drive and dedication that these players have that are making people all over flock to their games to watch them play. When the Devils play it's more than just a hockey game, it's a great hockey game.
Fan or not, it just may be worth purchasing tickets to see the New Jersey Devils, simply to see history in the making as this powerhouse team rises to the top of the ranks.
