Carolina Hurricanes Tickets Information |
The team which was founded in 1972 and since their formation has won a considerable amount of trophies and cups; the most cherished being the Stanley cup for the 2005–2006 season where they defeated the Edmonton Oilers for the cup. Since that historic year the team has been working on putting together another championship team headed by their captain Rod Brind’Amour. Hockey has long provided people the entertainment of basketball, with the fast-paced and rough action of football. The arena cheers and boos with each goal and misstep by the Carolina Hurricanes, but at the end of the night, everyone’s a fan and will gladly toast the night with the person sitting next to them.
For most, hockey is a foreign experience, and while it’s catching on more and more in America, it still has a long way to go. The NHL has been growing and hockey along with the Carolina Hurricanes has been receiving more press. While hockey is still nowhere near the popularity of other sports such as baseball, it’s still a great way to get out of the house and have a blast cheering for your favorite team, whether they be the Carolina Hurricanes or not.
