Fiesta Bowl Tickets Information

The Fiesta Bowl is part of the Bowl Series Championship Games which was held at the Sun Devil Stadium since it started in 1971. This time, the football games will be sponsored by Tostitos tortilla chips. Among the previous game sponsors are IBM and Sunkist. Watching the games at the Arizona desert was fun but fans will welcome the chance to see the games at the new Stadium in Glendale.

The Fiesta Bowl provided a tie-in for the champion of the Western Athletic Conference unlike before when they are relegated to less prestigious bowls when they are bypassed by the major bowls like the Orange, Cotton, Rose and Sugar Bowls. Since its inception the Fiesta Bowl has attracted quality matchups until it got its biggest break in 1987 when Miami and Penn State, the country's top two football teams who were independent at that time, played in the Fiesta Bowl. Penn State won the 1987 Fiesta Bowl and since then the Fiesta Bowl was promoted to major-bowl status.
