Last year the Pirates showed, yet again, their ability to defeat the competition in the NCAA - 1A division with their entrance into the highly coveted Hawaii Bowl. With their reputation growing, fans are anxious to see if the momentum gathered during the last incredible season will carry over into this upcoming gauntlet of tough competition. Looking back on last year's campaign, not purchasing tickets to see them live literally would be like missing out on witnessing a piece of Pirates history!
Since the beginning, the Pirates have proven to be worthy adversaries. Tickets have been selling since their commissioning during the 1932 season. Small beginnings apparently did not sway them, as they have proven year in and year out that the Pirates are here to stay.
Last year was the first major postseason performance since the year 2000. The momentum has returned to the Pirates, bringing them back to the national spotlight. Soon the next season will begin, and with so much going for them, it would be an atrocity to miss out on one of the most anticipated seasons in close to a decade.
