Founded in 1961, the Washington Wizards have been magic on the court ever since their inception. They make the ball appear and disappear in the blink of an eye, often times giving the defense a runaround, and swiping the ball from the offense and scoring before they even know what’s going on. The Washington Wizards enter this NBA season hoping to provide a magical upset for their fans.

The team has only one championship title, which was won in 1978, and has numerous conference and division titles around the same time. Since their hot streak in the seventies, the team has cooled off somewhat, and they’ve been rebuilding their roster to take the season by storm, to attack and vanquish any other team’s chances of a championship victory.

The Washington Wizards will have a tough fight to the top, having to break through recent championship teams such as the Lakers and the Spurs won’t be easy. In fact it will be down right hard, but the Wizards have produced bigger upsets and more stunning wins in the seventies, and their head coach Eddie Jordan believes they can do it again this season. He says ‘keep your eyes peeled for us on the court, we’re back again and stronger than ever’. The Wizards are no joke, and they have no plan on disappearing anytime soon.
