Founded in 1988 the Hornets have but only one title and that is a division title just acquired in the 2008 season. While the team is relatively new, they've always played strong, even in the beginning when they were located in North Carolina. While the team has had very little time to rack up accomplishments, they've been able to put together a list that's quite impressive when the time and relocation to New Orleans is taken into consideration.
Their roster has sported such names as hall of famer Robert Parish, and a couple rookie of the year recipients like Chris Paul. The Hornets individual players have racked up a long list of awards for themselves, often time a season doesn't go by where a Hornets player doesn't receive a notable honor. While the team has strong players, they just haven't had the time to put their skills together in a fashion that brings the big wins.
Keep your eyes out for them in one of the many big games this year, it's just a matter of time until they break away and are listed among top tier teams.
