Since their inception in 1946, the Celtics have won a handful of championships, division titles, and conference titles. From 1946 to 1956 the Celtics built a dynasty drafting the players that would be the key in the conquest of the NBA in later years. During the years 1957"“1969 the Celtics went on to decimate many of the teams in the NBA and to rack up a record 16 championships. The dynasty eventually fell but showing the Celtics' strong will to play the game and having their fans behind them, the Celtics rebuilt their dynasty and went on to win many more games. Since then the team has been in a decline, trying to rebuild to the levels of greatness they were at, previously.
While their games may not be as historic, they're still an incredible team to watch play and attending a Celtics game is an event to remember, especially for a kid just starting to get into basketball. No matter where they're located, the Celtics will continue to fight on to regain their dynasty for a third time and those who hold season tickets will be there with them when it happens.
