For nearly twenty years The Roots have been releasing album after album redefining the genres of their choosing. It seems that now almost two decades later there's nothing that they haven't had their hands in. From jazz to rock to hip-hop, The Roots has done it all twice over and twice as well as any other band out there. And while their albums such as 'Things Fall Apart' are a huge draw for their fans, the real attraction is their live shows.
The Roots play with an energy that's rarely seen today in modern performers. They will play with the audience and lead them on only to deny them of what they promised without words to them. However, in the end the audience will always get what they want but the way The Roots plays delays the satisfaction only to make it that much sweeter when it's finally obtained.
Between the incredible music and the one of a kind show, it's hard to top a band as notable and well put together as The Roots.
