The lead man of Reverend Horton Heat is known in real life as James C. Heath. He grew up to the music of the rock cover bands but his main influences were the music of country greats Merle Travis and Willie Nelson. There were rumors of his incarceration but Reverend Horton Heat dismissed this as mere fabrication used by Sub Pop to promote his image. He was named Reverend Horton Heat in 1985 by the owner of the Deep Ellum club in Dallas and has never looked back since then. He performed in blues- clubs for a while but moved on to the rock-punk venues which he deemed more financially rewarding. Aside from heat, Reverend Horton Heat is composed of Patrick Bentley on drums and Jimbo Wallace on base. Reverend Horton Heat is touring all over the country so get your Reverend Horton Heat Tickets now before they move on.
