Ramon Ayala was born in 1945 in Argentina in the City of Monterrey. Ramon became interested in music at the age of five years old. At this age, Ramon became attached to his accordion and began receiving lessons from his father Ramon Covarrubias. Soon after, Ramon Ayala began performing in a local bar known as Cadillac�. He met Cornelio Reyna and Juan Rock in the club and the group eventually formed a dueto know as Unlimited Power. Rock eventually split with the band leaving the duo of Reyna and Ayala behind. The remaining duo decided to perform together under the band name of Lightning of the North. The duo then began looking for record labels and got lucky in McAllen, Texas.

Ramon has been recording under the Marsol company for three years. He claimed to release a new disc every four months. All together Ramon Ayala released nine productions under the record label.
