Kenny Rogers Tickets Information

Kenneth Ray Rogers better known as Kenny Rogers was born in Houston, Texas in August 1938. Kenny was one of seven children of Floyd and Lucille Rogers. Kenny Rogers has been married five times, he has a total five children one daughter and four sons; including a set of twins which was born when Kenny was 65 years old. He began his career in 1950 when he was part of a group called "The Scholars". The lead singer decided to go solo so Rogers followed in suit and produced a single called "The Crazy Feeling" in 1958. Rogers decided to take a big turnaround and joined a jazz group called "The Bobby Doyle Trio" it was a popular little band that played almost nightly in local clubs. They even recorded for Columbia records.

The band split and so Kenny, Terry Williams, and Thelma Camacho formed "The First Edition" in 1967. They decided to change the group name and called in "Kenny Rogers and The First Edition." They released a couple of singles that hit the country and pop charts. Kenny decided to go solo in 1976 and signed with United Artists and producer Larry Butler.
