John Pinette was born on March 23rd 1964 in Boston Massachusetts. John has toured with the comedy club ever seen the 1980s. John Pinette has also appeared in cinema and television. While most of his comedy focuses around his weight other bits include comments about The Chipmunks, Elvis Presley, and Gollum from The Lord of the Rings. John Pinette always puts on one hilarious show after another. John Pinette was named Stand Up comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards in 1999. He also received a Gemini Award nomination for his televised performance at the Montreal Comedy Festival in 2000.
John Pinette continued his success and even joined the touring cast of the Musical Hairspray in 2005. He took the role of Edna Turnblad. At a 2006 Concert I’m Starvin’ he claimed it was his first music production he has performed in since high school. Pinette also performed at the forty second annual MDA Jerry Lewis Telethon in 2007. Throughout his career John has released two CDs and two DVDs. The CD Show Me the Buffet was released in 1998 and Making Lite of Myself was released in 2007.
