|
Having gained much of his fame from his TV show ‘Seinfeld’, he got his start doing standup comedy. Notorious for his deadpan deliveries, and often times over the top reactions to everyday situations, Jerry Seinfeld became a prominent standup comedian, and later moved into his television series. Shortly after the inception of Seinfeld, it began topping rating charts everywhere, and Seinfeld became one of the most sought after and highly paid TV actors in history. However; no amount of money could keep the TV funnyman from overstaying his welcome, and he ended his show on a good note in one of the most viewed TV occasions in history.
After his affair with TV, many expected Jerry Seinfeld to transfer into a film career as many other comedians have done before him. But staying true to his roots, he hit the road with all new material for another original standup tour entitled ‘I’m Telling You for the Last Time’. Having listed George Carlin as an influence, it’s unsurprising that his style is similar, and his success is nearing the same level.
