Raging against the machine is what Hedley does best. It was during prime time in 2004 that Hedley made their first large performance to thousands of screaming individuals during a taping session of Canadian Idol. Releasing their first official album which came only a year after that fateful TV appearance, the band quickly realized exactly the type of impact they have made. The album which was self titled went double platinum much to the bands surprise and when they saw Hedley tickets going for hundreds of dollars to the highest bidder, it became what they would later describe as a sobering experience.
