Formed in 1970, the Doobie Brothers have produced music that withstands the test of time. Their take on country music can't be heard anywhere else but in the audience at a Doobie Brothers concert, and most fans wouldn't have it any other way. That is not to say that other bands haven't tried to imitate their style in hopes of gaining a fraction of their success. It's just that no band to date has been able to even remotely mimic the legendary band.
Besides producing timeless music, the band has sold an incredible 22-million albums. Some of their best selling titles include "Minute by Minute", "What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits", and "The Captain and Me". The Doobie Brothers have won countless awards, but one that they claim to be most proud of is their initiation into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, which was decided upon in 2004. The band members may be aging, but their music certainly isn't. If you want to catch them live, they're still traveling and kicking as hard as ever.
Score some tickets, bring your friends, and you'll be the envy of many people throughout the country.
