Don Henley is the voice behind monstrous hits like Hotel California, One of These Nights and Witchy Woman. As a solo artist, Henley won the Grammy Awards a total of seven times and has released four albums. His first was released in 1982 and was titled I Can’t Stand Still. His last work was on 2000 and was named Inside Job. Don Henley is from Gilmer, Texas. In 1970 he moved to Los Angeles to work as a musician. He, along with another Eagle, Don Frey were session musicians for Linda Ronstadt. It was there that they met other musicians who formed what later became The Eagles.
Besides a musical career, Don Henley found cause with the environment and is a tireless campaigner for the preservation of the Walden Woods. He is also a benefactor for the Caddo Lake Institute, an organization that underwrites ecological education and research.
