Craig Ferguson, the Scottish American comedian, television host, actor, and writer, was born on May 17th 1962 in Glasgow, Scotland. Craig Ferguson started his career as a drummer in a punk band. The band performed throughout Glasgow from 1980 to 1982. Craig got started as a comedian in the United Kingdom. Craig toured throughout the UK during the late 1980s as a support act for Harry Enfield. In 1993 he made his television debut as he got his own series on Scottish archaeology. It was a television show called Dirt Detective on Scottish Television.
Craig Ferguson moved to Los Angeles in 1994. He became extremely popular while working as a boss on the Drew Carey Show. He played the Mr. Wick role from 1996 to 2003.
