Adam was the runner up in the Eighth Season of America Idol which was a close fight between him and eventual winner Kris Allen. Adam has always been drawn to the stage. As a child, he played Linus in a theatrical adaptation of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Later, he was part of the cast in a local production of Fiddler on the Roof. In his teenage years, He participated in more plays and musicals such as Hello! Dolly, Camelot, and The Music Man. He also played Captain Hook in Peter Pan. Adam’s breakout into the limelight unarguably came as a result of American Idol. He was one of the countless who came for the auditions in San Francisco, California. He sung Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You” and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”. Mentioning his musical tastes had a lot to do with Madonna, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, and Queen, he effortlessly made it to the Final 12 contestants. Adam and Kris Allen became roommates during the entire run of the competition.
